Sorin Broscaru

Software developer · Sibiu, Romania · Remote across the EU

You describe the application.
I build it.

I build custom software for companies: customer-facing products, web apps, internal tools, integrations. Frontend is my specialty, and I build the backend too. Nine years in product teams at Visma, Airtame, IMC and AUSY.

“Sorin is a versatile, remote-friendly frontend developer with good bit of experience who can deliver both as a team-mate and on his own.”

What happens next

  1. A free 30-minute call. You describe what you need and where it hurts.
  2. For a defined project: a scope, a fixed price and a delivery date.
  3. You get a working application, with the code and the accounts in your name.
  4. Carry on by the month if it is working. Stop when it is done.

What I build

A product your customers use

Portals, dashboards, web apps — the part of the business your customers actually touch, whether they are other companies or the general public.

The tool that is a spreadsheet today

Tracking, approvals, scheduling, reporting — whatever the team still keeps by hand. Built properly, so it stops being one person's private file that breaks the week they go on holiday.

Systems that talk to each other

Integrations between the software you already pay for, and automations over the routine somebody still does by hand every Monday morning.

Track record

Client work

Licensed operator, Malta

Frontend and platform integrations for a regulated gaming group, where a bad release is a licensing problem, not a bug report. Ongoing since 2023.

Nine years in product teams: front end at IMC AG and AUSY Technology, nearly four years at Visma Software, web application consultant at Airtame, then senior full-stack through Avro IT Consulting. On my own account since 2026.

Questions people ask first

What kind of software do you build?

Any software a company needs: customer-facing products, for business customers and for consumers, internal tools, and integrations between the software you already use. I specialise in frontend and build the backend as well.

How much does a custom application cost?

Every project gets a fixed price, agreed before the first line of code. A typical internal tool takes three to six weeks. There are no published rates; the free 30-minute call gives you a real number. No discovery phase that bills for three months before anything exists you can click on.

Who owns the code?

You do. Everything I build is handed over with the code and the accounts in your name.

Who will I be working with?

With me, Sorin Broscaru, a freelance software developer and the person writing the code. I work from Sibiu, Romania. Nine years in product teams, including Visma Software and Airtame, and no management layer in between. Written updates and short demo videos while it is being built, one call a week if you want one.

Do you work with companies outside Sibiu?

Yes, remotely across the EU. Sibiu is where I am, not where the work has to be. Intra-EU B2B invoices go out under reverse charge.

What happens after launch?

Fixes, small changes, and a person to call when something breaks at seven in the evening. You can carry on by the month, or stop when the project is done.

Is this a hire or a contract?

A contract. No role to open, no onboarding, no notice period. You engage a registered, VAT-registered business.

Can you join our team instead of taking a project?

Yes: a seat on your team by the month — your repo, your standups, your process.

Which technologies do you use?

Svelte · SvelteKit · React · Angular · TypeScript · Node · Cloudflare Workers · Postgres · Docker · GitLab CI · GitHub Actions · Jenkins · Proxmox · Playwright · MCP · llama.cpp · vLLM

Have something that should have been built by now?

Tell me what it is and where it hurts. I answer within a working day.
